Tigers Roar
Burwell Tigers U10s awoke from the slumber of the summer to face our friends at Bottisham in a well matched seasons opener. The Bottisham boys clearly started the better of the two teams and fully deserved to take a lead early in the first half. The Burwell Tigers equaliser came from Toby Hasleham before half time which gave the boys the belief that they could push on in the second half.
Quick goals from Ben Nolan and Toby Hasleham settled Burwell early in the second half. Henry Hall snached two further goals before Hasleham rounded of a well deserved hat-trick. All in all an excellent response to a slow start and a good all round team performance. Thank you to Bottisham for their hospitality and to Paul Fullwood, the excellent referee..
