Tigers completed their successful league campaign with a victory, though the winning margin somewhat flattered them.

Tigers were forced to defend for long periods in the first half and Swavesey took a deserved lead.
Just before the interval the visitors finally got going and equalised through Ben Swygart after good work from Adam Foody.

The second half saw the Tigers find the form that had won them the league title. Some fine passing football and a great team effort allowed them to score six second half goals.  Connor Wilson struck twice, Kieran Avey, Adam Foody and Ben Swygart added two more to complete his hat trick.  The scoreline was harsh on the home side who never gave up and battled to the end.

06-04-08 AWAY FULBOURN FALCONS W  1 - 3

Tigers travelled to Fulbourn inspired by the news that their Under 16 team had reached the Final of their Cup competition in the morning.

Knowing that a victory could clinch their section of the Under 12 league and make it a double success for the club the young Tigers attacked from the outset. Only some great defending by the Falcons prevented the visitors taking an early lead.

Lewis Thomas and Jamie Griggs stood firm at the back and Matthew Marsh and Dan Lemon were strong in the midfield. Just when it seemed the half would end scoreless between the divisions two highest scoring teams Tigers made the breakthrough. Adam Foody weaved his magic down the wing to cross for Ben Swygart to open the scoring.

The second half saw the Tigers fly out of the traps and Ben Swygart released Adam Foody to run half the length of the pitch before chipping the home keeper from twenty yards for number two.

This led to sustained Fulbourn pressure and good work from Harry Boyle and Eamon Sweeney kept them at bay until they pulled one back to make the remaining moments a tense affair.

Tigers however left the best until last.  A fine ball from Connor Wilson found Adam Foody who controlled the ball and unleashed an unstoppable volley into the roof of the net to secure victory for Tigers.

With other results going their way this meant Tigers had clinched their Division of The Cambridge Colts League Under 12s.

Having turned in their best display of the season the previous week to return to the top of the table the young Tigers followed it up with one of their worst!  Littleport took the game to Tigers from the outset and but for some poor finishing they could have took the lead sooner then they did. More poor marking allowed Littleport to score twice more before the interval.

Ben Swygart and Matthew Marsh led by example winning endless tackles so the home side could get on top. A fine cross from Swygart allowed Connor Wilson to fire home their second.
